Calls for Equality

So you want to help No on 1 preserve marriage equality for all Mainers but cant make it to a phone bank? Good news! Our Calls for Equality program allows you to phone bank from home. All you need is a phone and a computer with an internet connection. We'll provide the rest.

As you know, our campaign has been working hard to identify supporters across the state. Since we can't possibly knock on every door, we're trying to reach as many Maine people as possible to encourage them to vote early.  What we're asking you to do is go to our website and sign up for a virtual phone bank shift. You can do this at www.protectmaineequality.org/phoneformaine.  After signing up, we'll provide the training, a script, and all the information you need to identify marriage equality supporters. It is often that extra nudge from a dedicated supporter that motivates someone to vote.

Please know that the more people we connect with and encourage to vote early, the more resources we have to spend on non-committed voters.
